BA launches mobile check-in
British Airways has launched a new service allowing travellers to check-in whilst "on the go". The service is free, and can be accessed via a website www.ba.com/mobile through which travellers can check-in and select seats.

SAS reports pre-tax loss of €179m for third quarter
The Scandinavian carrier said the new figures included a write down of goodwill on its Spanair operation after one of its planes crashed after take off in August 2008, killing 154 passengers and crew. It also a drop of 5.4% in passengers carried to 9.8m.
BMI to drop Manchester long-haul routes
Bmi is dropping its long-haul services from Manchester to Chicago, Las Vegas, Barbados and Antigua from next year.The move will leave Virgin Atlantic as the only carrier offering direct flights from theUK to Las Vegas (from London Gatwick).
Marriott forecasts a tough year ahead
