Cruise Destinations

Viking River Cruises operates an extensive range of itineraries on the major rivers of Europe, the Russian Waterways, the Ukraine and China’s Yangtze River. The variety of cruises on offer gives a choice of cruising through several countries including France, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria and Romania.

Brochure Price Range

Lead in price is £1295 for an 8 day European cruise. Further afield, a 12-day tour through China, which includes three nights on the Yangtze aboard one of Viking’s two deluxe vessels combined with a 9 day land tour visiting some of China’s major attractions, is priced from £2245. All cruises are based on full board accommodation and include return scheduled flights, transfers and a programme of escorted tours.

Cruise Season

Viking River Cruises main programme of cruises runs from March-October, however there is also a smaller programme of winter cruises available covering November through to the New Year.

Cruise Fleet

Viking River Cruises owns and operates 21 deluxe cruise ships. The ships carry from 128 passengers up to 306 on the larger Yangtze vessels. Scandinavian designed, the ships offer a hotel-style cabins with double beds and comfortable public areas including lounge, dining rooms, library and large sun decks to make the most of the surrounding scenery.
